Unlike the full tanned hide classical Sorel Caribou boot, the Cumberland sleet foot has a lighter weight, water-resistant nylon top which almost reduces the weight per boot. Behind this difficult polyurethane-backed element is a comfortable and fast-drying Thinsulate insulation that’s rated to keep your feet comfortable all the approach down to -25F (-32C). The drawbacks? None if you’re outside, but be rebuilt to purify up after yourself if your towering chalet sand room has white linoleum or light hard wood floors.
